I Will Wait For You I wait for you to come back to me. When will you come back to me? I am on the other side. (You can break through it.) I will wait for you. In my heart, (I will wait for you) Is a river. (I will wait for you, one day you’ll come home.) And you love flows through it. (I will wait for you, one day you’ll come home.) And I can wait forever. Because (How high will it flow?) this flood will never end. I will wait for you. (My patience goes forever) (Hope) (For Love) I will wait for you in peace.

Freedom is not needing They take all that they need They take all that they see They give all that you need They give all you could be What you need is what shall be given What you take is what is forgiven What you have is what shall be taken What you have is what is forsaken They’ll make you want Freedom is not needing Give all that you can Give all that you can Make all you can stand Make all you can stand You control all that you plan You behold all that you scan You are made all by your hand You become all that you land They’ll make you want Freedom is not needing Be your own heart Be your own mind Be your own start Be your own time Fight resistance They’ll make you want Freedom is not needing

Just The Minute Wait for a minute Wait for a time Just the last minute Of the end of your life Only a minute You can get by It’s the best minute Don’t ask me why Don’t ask me why Don’t ask me why It’s the best minute Don’t ask me why All your life spent waiting for this time All your time spent waiting for the end of your life All my life has been a dream until this time All this time I screamed and I laughed and I cried The rain may fall and the sky is gray But above all that the sun still shines And time seems slow and takes all day But at the end of it all it was a blink of your eyes

All My Life 05:53
All My Life All my life I’ve been waiting for this moment I took it down to a level that I had never known before I walked around the town listening for something new I looked around and found the home I walked away from Was not the home I remembered in my dreams In my memories… Lost without a home, is what I feel in my heart Lost without a base, a place I could go back to Just to rest my head, just to rest my thoughts Just to catch my breath… just to catch my breath! All my life I’ve been waiting for this moment I fell into the eyes that were staring deep into my soul We talked for hours and hours, time was standing still At once I knew I found the home I had been longing for This is the home I’d remembered in my dreams In my memories… Finally found my home, is what I feel in my heart Finally found my base, a place I could go back to Now I rest my head, now I rest my thoughts Now I catch my breath… now I catch my breath!

Lost in the woods Oh no, I’ve lost my way, in the woods, in the woods, oh so lost. Oh no, it’s so dark, it’s so cold and I’m so full of hunger. Oh no, where am I now? There is no map and the sky is black. Oh no, the trees are closing in, I hear the wolves and I feel the danger. You chose to leave, without your key You chose to go, into the cold You chose to flee, into the trees Now you know, you’re in a hole Lost in the woods Please, please, please, please (let me be found) Oh no, I’m in so deep. If I could sleep I would sleep for a thousand years. Oh no, where is the way? Just a clue, or a path would save the day. Oh no, where are the stars? Only clouds and rain and snow in my ears. Oh no, if I closed my eyes, would the wolves go away, would the wolves stay away. The dark falls, on your shoulders On your shoulders. On your shoulders The dark falls on your shoulders Holding you down Lost in the woods Please, please, please, please (let me be found)

The River 04:42
The River We all go down to the river Into the waters we must climb There we get what we are given Then we get drunk from its wine We all must live in the river We all must swim in its banks We do what we can amongst the crocodiles And try to keep away from the snakes We all go down to the river Bathe in the mud and the mire We’re all born to live in the river The water that flows there is the flood of our desire Flow, that’s how it goes Winding through our lives, through the highs and the lows Flows, nobody knows Where its currents will take you, you must swim with its tow We all must dance in the river Move with the water as it glides We shake to its ebb and we groove to its flow The music it creates makes us feel more alive We all go down with the river We all move around with its tide Some like it deep and some like it shallow And everybody has their favorite sides When we reach the end of the river It’s the ocean, where we shall be Then we say goodbye to the river As we drift out into the deep Down from the mountains, born from the sky, raining down from way up high Flows through the valleys with little design into our lives So, Take me down to the river Let the current take me away The cold waters might make me shiver But the watery embrace will warm my decay We all go down to the river Into the waters we must climb There we get what we are given Then we get drunk from its wine We all go down to the river Into the waters we must climb There we get what we are given Then we get drunk from its wine Flow, that’s how it goes Winding through our lives, through the highs and the lows Flows, nobody knows Where its current will take you, you must swim with its tow

Bells And Whistles You make me so happy You make me so glad And when I’m not with you I smile at the memory of you that I have You are just so special I love you so much You make my life so full All I need to smile is the feel of your touch I’m fine, and I’m fine As long as I know you’re by my side And I fly, and I fly With you way up in the sky Oh how I know life can be roses and thistles But oh now I know, you are so bells and whistles! I think you’re fantastic I think you’re so grand And when you’re here with me I’m ready to take on the world while holding your hand I find you enchanting I’m fond of your grace I’m touched by your patience And the feeling that I get when I am seeing your face You take me… You make me… You shake me all over…

Whaty 03:47
Whaty? What do you want from me? What do you want from me? You’ve taken everything I need. What do you want from me? Hold just a minute Your grabbing hands have pulled a little too much skin Hold just a minute I can’t tell where I begin or where I end. When will you leave me alone? I’m down to nothing but a little bit of skin and my bones When will you leave me alone? If you take any more all that’s left will be a pile of stones For every time you take There’ll be a day you’ll pay Until you’ve paid your way To the day And every time you’ve paid They’ll lower down your wage Until you can’t delay The bed you’ve made

Something To Live For Something to live for All you have to do is try. Something to live for Even if you have to lie Oh to yourself It’s better then the sleepless nights. Lying awake feeling the empty time pass you by This life can be so hard Waiting for some better days to come I know it’s not easy But is anything worthwhile that comes easy? I’m not the one to tell you how to live your life I just want to tell you don’t give up the fight Something to live for Just an answer to the question: “why?” Something to live for Just a little more hope that helps you get by Oh tell yourself it’s much better than the endless nights Trying to breath, trying to calm your mind from this bind This life can be so hollow, it’s easy to give up, fade and wallow I know that’s so easy, But if anything is worthwhile it’s not easy? I’m not the one to tell you how to live your life I just want to tell you don’t give up the fight I wait for better days Better days could find a way I know the sky’s above The moon may rise but the sun will come Sometimes a forest burns But it feeds the ground, to green the earth Thee egg is a beautiful home But the bird won’t fly if the egg stays stone And I wait for better days Better days could find a way I wait for better days Better days could find a way I wait for better days Better days could find a way I’m not the one to tell you how to live your life I just want to tell you don’t give up the fight Don’t give up the fight

The World Still Spins The love that you desire Is found inside the fire That burns inside the heart Of the one that loves you But there are many liars Who imitate the fire To tear you apart And cheat the one that really loves you Oh no you did it again! Where have you been? What did you spend? Oh no this is the end! It’s under your skin, But every time this happens, the world still spins You work hard for your bread To keep your family fed Stay on the honest path And make an honest living Quick money could be bled It’s tempts you with its head It’s just some simple math And cheats the system that employs you All of the reasons you keep the straight and narrow Can fly out the window like the wings of a sparrow All good intentions are worthy where they dwell But good intentions without actions send it all to hell! (Oh!)

Ups And Downs It can be dark inside Your life can sometimes slide One thing that does remind Pain means you’re still alive As much as you may try No guarantee you’ll get by If they say so then it’s a lie Magic beans that you should not buy But the best thing in this life If you can give it just a little more time Good things do open up wide Brief moments glorified Some times, it helps to change your mind Some times, the things that you want are keeping you blind Ups and downs Come around Ups and downs If you have enough time Then what you’ll get is ups and downs Sometimes it’s endless nights Broken promises and tear filled eyes Underneath a gray cloud sky But above all that, the sun does fly Do what you can to start to climb Out of the hole release the binds Not every step can turn out right But don’t be afraid of another try Grab a hold with all your might Drink it down, enjoy the light Spread your wings and take to flight And don’t forget the beautiful sights

Your Giving Hands Lost in the woods, covered in snow, surrounded by wolves, I was found Breathing my last, given up hope, it was so cold as I lay on the ground The night was dark, black as the crow, waiting to fly, and take me down Then like a star, I saw you glow, I heard you call, it was a beautiful sound I was found I was found By your giving hands I was found Out of the woods, in your embrace, you brought me warmth, I was found Into your light, into your grace, into your love, that I am bound I can see hope when I look at your face, I am alive, when you’re around You are the one, you are my base, you are my queen, you wear the crown I was found I was found By your giving hands I was found When the light was darkest in my life You came through to shine so bright And I had given up the fight But you were there, to set things right

about

"The Grand Who Am I" was born after Sheldon Reynolds spent 20 years in Austin, Texas producing and "singing" (mostly screaming) for an industrial band, and losing his job after 12+ years of employment. He began a search for his true voice and found a light in the melody of his song "Just The Minute". It brought him peace in a very dark time in his life. The rest of the songs followed, each its very own special light shining in the darkness, to create the album "I Will Wait For You".

It would be easier to describe the type of music that the "The Grand Who Am I" is not, rather than to tie it down to any single genre. Sheldon's voice has a slight world music feel, and is the only true common instrument, however there is a fondness for stand-up bass, acoustic/marching drums, and strings (fiddle/violin/orchestral) and very little usage of the guitar. As opposed to his creepy mostly negative industrial music past, these are songs of mostly hope, life lessons and love. There are hints of world music, folk, jazz, electronic, ragtime, alternative and pop. Influences include Voltaire, Peter Murphy, Dead Can Dance, Gogol Bordello, and Florence and the Machine.

After the release of the album, Sheldon plans on live solo performances, and just seeing where all this light takes him. Feel free to contact him with your ideas, comments or opportunities to further this endeavor.
